Katlem is a combination of my first and last name (Kate Lemish). I’m a small design and paper goods studio based out of Newport, Rhode Island, and I love creating new and unusual invitation suites and interesting paper correspondence.
As a designer, I decided to design my own wedding invitations for my wedding back in 2004 as I couldn’t find one that really suited the feel and tone I was looking to create for my wedding. I enjoyed it so much (although I think I'd be hardpressed to convince my friends to make envelopes from scratch ever again) and the response from them was so great I later decided that I wanted to make this my job and help others create beautiful wedding invitation suites for their big day.
When I’m not working away on the computer, I love to play volleyball, take in a sporting event, go for a nice paddle with my husband, and take on new home projects.
